PUBLISHERS AND AGENTS.NET FEATURED ON AGENTS’ PANEL

AT LITERARY CONFERENCE

Participants Interested in New E-Mail Query Approach to Finding an Agent

Now PublishersAndAgents.net has joined the writers’ conference circuit with an invitation to be on an agents’ panel at the California Literary Conference. It was sponsored by the San Francisco Bay Area Book Writers’ Guild on November 9 in Oakland, California. Creative Director Gini Graham Scott joined the panel along with two agents and explained how writers could use e-queries to contact agents, as well as editors and publishers directly, now that most of them are online.

Many of the writers expressed interest in using this new approach, including one of the conference organizers.  And one of the participants, organizing another conference for February, invited PublishersAndAgents to participate in that conference, too.

As these conference invitations reflect, more and more writers are interested in trying this e-query approach to quickly contact agents and publishers.  Certainly, they have to be ready with good writing when they do.   But then, they can make their connections almost instantly, and more and more agents and editors are proving receptive, including the other panelists at the conference.

Besides connecting book writers with editors and publishers, PublishersAndAgents.net helps to connect writers of articles and columns with syndicates and newspaper feature editors, and screenplay writers with producers, production companies, and agents.
