We
are no longer offering postal queries, because
almost everyone uses e-mails now, only a few clients have ordered these, and the files are too big to create.
For returning clients, please note we have had a small increase as of
May 15 due to our increased costs for maintaining a dedicated mail
server for sending out queries, as well as updating and expanding our
databases.

for clients who have gotten a strong response to their query and want help
deciding what agent or publisher to sign with. It is also a way to obtain address and phone
numbers for follow-up, though usually clients obtain this from the agents or
publishers who have contacted them.

We do not sell our lists, since these are proprietary. Many of our
sources have confidential e-mail, phone, and fax numbers
and don't want this information published, and we don't want these
lists to be widely copied and distributed, because if these contacts receive a large number of
e-mail queries
from writers, especially poorly written ones, they will consider them spam and may even change their e-mails.
Not selling our lists has also enabled us to overcome a major concern
of people in the industry, since we can limit our clients to those with
marketable projects and can personally review all the letters we send out
and make suggestions to improve the letter.
